So Pepper's made a run for twice in the past couple of weeks and scared the crap out of me, but I reached an all-time high today. When I got home from work, Pepper wasn't at the door to greet me like usual. I walked in the apartment and started to call her name, but she didn't come. At this point, I was racking my brain trying to figure out if she'd escaped when I left for work. I started checking the living and dining rooms to make sure she wasn't hurt somewhere. I then glanced down the hall and noticed her behind the gate used to block her into the front of the apartment. Apparently I left a gap when I propped up the gate this morning and she went through and couldn't go back through. Looks like she spent her day sleeping on the spare bed . . .
